Some of the money from Top Surgeons, a company behind the 1-800-GET-THIN ads, will pay for billboards on the risks of weight-loss surgery. A company behind the 1-800-GET-THIN billboard ads has reached a $1.3-million settlement of a false-advertising lawsuit, with a twist: Some of the money will be spent on billboards warning the public about the risks of weight-loss surgery.
